intimate (2015)

In memory, there are no clear images.
A line is a gesture. It is personal. It is unique.

This work is about intimacy. It captures the essence of the intimate act of love. Uncensored. Purely expressed. Suggested or found, rather than abstracted. With enough room for interaction.

Figures are entirely dependant on interpretation and completed through projection. The scenes are inhabited by the viewer’s projected fantasies and desires.

Unmasked, but faceless. Motion embodied. Each line is a gesture: Some are powerful. Lustful, even. Some give the illusion of cadence. Some are the expression of a bodily memory.

These are all expressions of stories and memories of moments. This work is intimate. It is from the body and the heart.
